76 PEARL STREET SAN FRANCISCO, CA
About the artist...I am a native Californian born in Burbank, now I live in San Francisco. The visual romance of California inspires my creativity and the diversity of city life pushes my imagination. My art explores what imagery can do to bridge the past present and future. I also feel that dreams and visions explain our interior narratives by using imagery from our every day life in new ways. As a painter, I nurture these images and create visual tales to share.
Stories in every form give life its music. My childhood was filled with fables and history that pushed my imagination; tales from Ireland, Mexico, Syria and Pittsburgh. Some true, some pure fantasy. They inspire me to create my own visual narratives to this day.
My work includes landscapes, abstractions, figurative studies and more...dreamscapes and quick character sketches infuse some of my pieces with the movement and emotion that lives in my head and flows onto paper and canvas. I leave the history of my gesture in each work.
